Day 1: Arrival in Cochin
Our tour executive will meet and greet you at Cochin International Airport or Railway Station upon your arrival for the Kerala Tour. Later, drive towards Munnar, the most praised paradise-like hill station of Kerala. It lies like a typical green painting with thousands of acres of tea plantations embraced by the mist of the Western Ghats. The cool, foggy climate throughout the year makes Munnar truly a heaven in Kerala. On the way, enjoy the views of Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. After reaching Munnar, check in to your hill resort and either relax or go for a tea plantation and town visit in the evening. Spend the evening relaxing with another Ayurveda treatment such as Kizhi (herbal bundle massage) or Podi Kizhi (herbal powder massage).
Day 2: Munnar Tour
After having your breakfast at the hotel, Start your day with a visit to Munnar’s famous tea gardens. Walk through the plantations and enjoy panoramic views of the hills. Visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about Munnar’s tea history and the tea-making process. Savor a traditional Kerala meal at a local restaurant or your resort, including dishes like Appam, Stew, and Karimeen Pollichathu. Must visit to the Eravikulam National Park, famous for its Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat) population and scenic landscapes. You can also enjoy a trek through the lush hills or take a bus to the viewpoint for stunning views of the Western Ghats.
Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey
After a relaxing breakfast at the hotel, check out the hotel in Munnar and head towards Alleppey (approx. 4-5 hours drive). After your arrival in Alleppey, check into your hotel and head towards Alappuzha Beach. Spend time walking along the shore, relaxing, or visiting the Alappuzha Lighthouse, where you can get panoramic views of the coastline. In the late afternoon, take a sunset boat ride along the serene backwaters. This gives you a chance to see the lush surroundings, watch local villagers going about their day, and enjoy the beauty of the water.
Day 4: Alleppey Exploration & Ayurvedic Treatment
After the breakfast at the hotel, head to the Krishnapuram Palace, a 16th-century Kerala-style palace with beautiful murals, gardens, and an ancient temple. This is a great way to learn about the local history and architecture. Take a short trip to Kuttanadu, also known as the “Rice Bowl of Kerala.” Explore the rice fields and enjoy the serene environment, or visit Punnappra, a village known for its lush landscapes and water-based activities. In the late afternoon, take a short walk around Alleppey town and explore the local markets. You can shop for spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs like coir products or traditional Kerala clothing After exploring the town, indulge in anotherAyurvedic treatment like Udvartana (herbal powder massage) or you can enjoy a leisurely dinner at your resort, savoring more authentic Kerala dishes.
Day 5: Departure
After the breakfast at the hotel, Check out of your hotel the driver will come and drop you at the Kochi Airport, a nearby city, or a train station.
